Follow up on data organization

After I have started to read the blog of Elizabeth Lawley and got a good insight of the research tools of the University of Marburg in Germany, I understood better, how people on a research mission might approach their data mining work.

For books or articles from magazines, students and researchers are on a complete different trip than the average Google user and the data is organized and presented differently.

We will try to extract more meta data out of files in the future and make this data available to the search engines. Especially the meta information on MP3, sounds and pictures. Information about the sampling rate or the color depth is something, that no search engine right now is really presenting right but absolutely important for a potential buyer.

I stated several times, that the data mining based on a few keywords is not very good. We need more meta data!
