The maintenance and organisation of large storage grids and "computing on demand" are for me the real buzzwords of the next year.
Imagine that storage needs to go up by hundreds of percent, if every girl and guy wants to store the digital photos from yesterdays party and need their favourite family movies online, too? We talk Terabytes quite quickly, trust me!
The conference next week will put some direction to the topic and the market leaders will talk about their technical approach.
I am really sorry, that I can not be there - one of the conferences I would love to attend!
