Software Channels

We tried to make the transition to our new infrastructure as smooth as possible both for merchants and surfers. Nonethelss did we experience some touble during the last 8 days. First the database kept crashing, then some coding errors were made in the merchant area. To top that, the new hardware was faulty and stopping randomly, so we had to replace the brand new box with another one. Now, after 8 days tough work, I think we went back to stability and speed.

Thanks again to Peter and his folks, who uncovered some of the errors in setup.

The new servers are in place and no more errors were found during the last 24 hours. Now we are ready to pump out some new functions, which were sitting here and waited for tradebit to have more computing power. We are excited and will wait until next week, before we touch anything again.

Until then, the weekend is up again (were that really 5 days, where has the last week gone?).
