When I booked the 12 Terabytes late last year, I thought we might get along with that until early/mid 2008. Well, as it seems, the space goes out fast. I underestimated the amount of videos and large resolution photos some people have.

Yesterday I talked to a professional photographer, who asked me, if he could upload his 4 Terabytes collection of photos he saved over the years. FOUR TERABYTES? What are you doing there

Well, I learned, that professional photographers love to have the data in the highest possible resolution for further usage in print or other media. That makes easily 20 to 40 Megabytes per Photo.

We will now talk to our backbone partners to get more Terabytes together asap. I expect some upgrades until the end of September!
