64bit Servers in place… heading for layout cosmetics!

Another short heads up on the backbone changes: Yesterday we activated 4 new 64bit web frontend servers to add more download ports for our customer and partners. After about 2 hours one of the servers died again. Too late to take it out of the cluster loop without a hick up. So, for around 30 minutes a fifth of all tradebit traffic vanished in cyberspace… doh!

Today ThePlanet has replaced the memory on the server and I do hope the box will stay stable now. We are already pumping traffic to it and so far it looks ok!

If that setup turns out to be stable and finished (what I truly hope) we will move to the frontend updates of the pages. After that some more features and Tradebit 4.0 will be finished. You are currently looking at (roughly) version 3.2!

Next week we will be in Paris to get you some more content to enjoy and the October update is in full swing!

As you know, Christmas marketing has already started and you might have to catch up, too? We hurry as much as we can to get all the Christmas songs, clip arts, recipes and related files together. Await no further changes until coming Monday/Tuesday!

Through TradeBit I paid for a car repair manual. The blurb said immediate delivery, suggesting that I would be able to download the manual, probably as a PDF file, or that it would be emailed to me as an attachment. In any case, no address was requested, so that it was impossible that I could be sent a hard copy.

I was unable to download anything, and I have not received an email attachment. The purchase was made on the 7th of October. It is now the 13th of October.

I have contacted manualsupport(at)gmail.com three times about this and have received no response of any kind.

Do not try to do buy repair manuals listed on TradeBit. It is a scam.

It is definitely not a scam and also this is not the place to post your complaint… however am I sorry, that a purchase for you did not go smoothly and I will see, that you get a refund NOW. Please use our standard support emails and feedback forms for contacting us.
