Actual Weather Report on Updates (final?)
The last 3 weeks have been very crazy. We have done a lot of backbone work with upgrading the servers to 64bit and have enhanced the storage space. We are also now partner of Opera Software in Norway, who we support with bandwidth.
Our new code wizard Martin has worked on the user frontend and created a cool new upload wizard for the new tradebit users. You will enjoy this thing, I am sure!
We have fought some database errors over the weekend and imported around 100,000 new files for a new partner last week. This week the frontend changes MIGHT make it public and it was a hell of a ride!
On Wednesday we will move the last belongings of Tradebit and myself to Frankfurt. Then the last background organizations should be finished. Also: a big new consulting job is taking some time from me, but the fresh money helps to fill the war chest to speed things up even more.
All in all: By friday I am back into development, if no major errors occur and Martin will have rolled out the new frontend for all of us.
The new languages and an improved payment process will then be in our focus.
Traffic is good, sales are up by 15% compared to the same time in September and my big deadline is the upcoming pubcon in Vegas at the beginning of December! Until then we will continue to update here and there and I will keep you posted in this blog!
