Today we rolled out some changes in the download center. Too many people complained about failing downloads and we have now changed the backend server to an updated box in our Rack with The Planet. This new machine is DEDICATED for handling downloads of purchases and I hope that fixes some of the problems.

Also (while investigating): I have found out, that some of the download errors came from outdated buttons on the merchant pages. That means merchants have generated button code in plain HTML and put those on their domains. Then they deleted the product or changed it on tradebit. The customer sends outdated info to paypal and as a result the download pages shows up blank.

That is not our fault – or at least we are a bit clueless about what to do. We will provide a Javascript based button soon to avoid such changes!
