New things + errors
The problem with development environments and live systems is that there are always little differences and process steps which involve various dependencies. So it happens sometimes that you test locally and everything is alright, but once released onto the servers problems do occur!
That happened around midnight (Houston time) and caused some errors on the platform on one of the servers. We are constantly trying to improve our server setups and this error might slip unnoticed, but that is not our style - so: tradebit produced database errors tonight between midnight and 3am, Houston time and we are sorry if a sale was not recorded or images not delivered to your advertising campaigns. We have been notified by our monitoring systems and fixed the errors.
Everything is back to normal!
We also released some new features in the last days you might want to know about:
- Related files: on the detail pages the first TAG of the file is used to cross reference related files, even from other merchants.
- Serial keys in German: You can sell license keys via direct debit now
- Thumbnail and picture upload: The edit page of your file offers a direct assignment of thumbnails and pictures now
