Reparing a frontend node
Folks - we just got a notification (Saturday, 11th of July) that one of our frontend servers has a hard drive failure. We have removed the box from rotation (which normally takes around 1 hour) and started the replacement process for the hard drives.
It is very likely that you do not experience any failures, but if your nameserver takes longer to update its tradebit.com addresses, it could be that you still land on the switched off box. Then you will see nothing but a failure message.
The box should be back online within 4 hours. In that time it could come to one or the other error but that should effect less than 1% of all visitors on tradebit.
