Selling Downloads - Version 5.0
Tradebit.com went live in December 2004 with something around 100 files. We went through hurricanes (real ones, not digital ones), server failures, hardware updates and layout changes over the years. We tried to implement all the good ideas and wishes for specific features of our merchants on the way. Now we have over 30,000 active accounts, something over 20 Terabytes of data directly on our harddrives and promote another 10 Terabytes external files. More than 10 Mio. files are online!
Yesterday we updated the layout again and I do hope you like it.
After 2 years with the same layout, some potential merchants told us, the layout does not look fit for their art. It was OK, but not really shiny for high class photographs or design oriented people in general. So I talked to Ben Hunt (the author of the best-selling web design eBook “Save The Pixel“) and asked him to scribble out some pages. That was in May this year.
Ben is also head of the UK based design studio ScratchMedia in London and I thought: he is a merchant on Tradebit AND has the right approach to converting designs.
So, now there are some more bugs to kill and I hope this layout will do for the next 2-3 years in general…

Until last week all was well, we had been using trade bit successfully. Then your home page changed and locked us out.
Below are two e-mails I have sent to which I have received no reply. to date.
Could you please expedite the matter?
