A few weeks ago we added the overview page for our press releases of the past years under "/news.php" and collected all the official releases we posted since 2005. Now our American guys have almost finished the financials of 2009 and in comparison to 2008 the platform grew by 124% in revenue (and visits).
That means we have more than doubled the sales volume in the past year and our traffic increase is also reflecting the growth rate with more files, more sellers and much more visits per month.
The growth rate is not only our achievement. It is due to our merchants who use us as their sales catalog and I wanted to thank you all for supporting us year after year and welcome the new sellers on the platform.
It is also worth mentioning that Tradebit became 5 years old a few days after Christmas 2009. Some merchants have grown with us over the years and saw all the changes we went through, business model adjustments, failures and successes we experienced in that time.
My partners and investors asked me, if we will be able to double the numbers this year again and I said: we doubled it every year since the beginning, even under harsh conditions. So, if you keep uploading the interesting stuff and if we can also get some major content parts covered, I believe it will happen again this year!
