Payout via Credit Card

Update: we have replaced the payout to credit cards now with Moneybookers!

We are currently working on the process to pay out merchants directly to a Moneybookers account instead of their Paypal account. The whole process is a bit tricky, because the money needs to travel a few days longer via the credit card payments.

There are 2 options we are discussing:

a) merchants may choose if they want to be paid via Paypal OR moneybookers

b) merchants get paid via Paypal for all Paypal revenue AND via credit card for all credit card revenues

Moneybookers is ON REQUEST only!

All payments that CAME IN via the new credit card interface, is delayed ONE WEEK:

pay out cycle

As soon as the pages have been uploaded and the process been tested, I will update you here!

Hi Ralf when you say merchants paid via credit card, how do we get the payout from TradeBit?

  2. Buy Plr Says:

Seems like a good idea for me.

  3. Major Merchant Says:

Hello Ralf. I am not sure I understand this at all. Are you saying that merchants would have to provide Tradebit with a VISA or MasterCard account number, and that Tradebit would then somehow be able to process a credit to that VISA or MasterCard account?

  4. Administrator Says:

Hi folks – yes – we can process a payment FROM tradebit to a credit or debit card. Depending on the state of your card, you either have just a ++ on your statement, you get money paid out or you have it sitting on your card and you can spend it.

Consider your credit card number as a bank account number we can wire money to. It is basically like that.

Let’s say you spent 500 $ last month with your card. You earned 300 $ from us, you would only need to pay 200 to cover the card.

If you spent 100 and earned 500, it depends on the contract with your card supplier, what happens with the 400 credits… some book it to their bank account automatically, some cards give interest for money you leave on there, some just have a positive balance, which is carried over to the next month, etc.

BUT the money would be on your credit card around thursday, when we pay out wednesday. That should also work with debit cards!

so this is already in working order or we have to wait again?

  6. Desdichata Says:

Some merchants may not want to deal with Paypal but I would rather have my money go to my Paypal account than to my credit card. I hope you don’t remove the option that all payments go to one’s Paypal account no matter how the buyer purchased the goods

  7. Intersol Says:

Will this work the same way for Affiliates? What would be the process?

  8. Mike Wagner Says:

I absolutely hate PayPal! When will thisbe implemented?

  9. Administrator Says:

I expect this to be in place by mid next week. It will only work with VISA and MASTERCARD – we currently can not support diners or amex – we want to, but it is a bit more complicated!
