Payout news: we are closing in!
Thank you all for the feedback on the new credit card gateway. We have learned a lot about the different needs of our merchants in the last few days.
After all the feedback we got, we see that there are basically 3 groups of merchants:
- For Paypal
- Against Paypal
- Do not care
and we are trying to find the best way for a peaceful compromise in payout and money handling.
As you could imagine: fraud protection, timely payouts, fast support responses are all aspects we have to consider and will proceed now with:
- All files will be available via direct credit card payments by mid next week
- Merchants who prefer Paypal shall contact me, to have that implemented in your product details: Those merchants get a paypal button by default and the credit card as an additional option. The other will get the credit card first and paypal as the option. After all, I think it is a question of taste and personal preference.
- We will payout EITHER to your paypal account OR to your credit card. In order to pay out to the credit card, we need to verify that to create a virtual card we can book money to and the lowest price for that is 0.19 cents. We are currently working on that and will post here, when we are done.
- It is important to understand, that money from the consumer to your credit card will travel for at least 10 days. We are on a weekly pay cycle with the credit card processors and a purchase on a Wednesday will take 14 days to be booked to either your card or your paypal account.
We work hard to improve for you! I think you will see significantly improved numbers with an additional payment method.

Please leave my payout with Paypal. It works fine and I really appreciate the weekly payout on Wednesdays. Thanks for providing a wonderful ecommerce tool that helps me market my digital content on my bargainhunterwarehouse tradebit store.

You may already create a virtual card ID in the member area to have a payout number. It will work like this:
1.) We will NOT save any credit card data anywhere
2.) We create a virtual ID for your credit card info, that the bank will connect to your card
3.) We will book payouts (if you select this) to that virtual ID once a week for all revenues up to 10 days or older
more infos will follow!

Ralf,
I think it will be very helpful if you can provide a debit card as well. The card partners you have teamed with, do they provide debit card services as well?
If not, May be tradebit can partner with Payoneer?
Any thoughts on that?

Pecno, debit cards will work LIKE credit cards. I do not think there will be any difference.

Ralf,
I think you misunderstood my previous post.
I know that tradebit can payout to our (merchant’s) credit or debit card.
What I suggested was whether tradebit can partner with debit card providers like payoneer who can offer debit cards to merchants and tradebit can pay out to those debit cards.
Yes, we merchants have credit or debit cards (which are essentially provided by banks in our countries). But still people may prefer 3rd party services like Payoneer who offer debit cards because of various issues like taxes, … etc
Let me know if you need any more clarity on my post, I will send you a detailed email in this regard.
Thanks and my congratulations to tradebit on making an alternate payout solution possible. I could understand the complexities and the amount of work required by the tradebit team to make this possible.

Ah, now I understand! You mean I should add a link to people like payoneer so if someone does not have a debit card, they can instantly get one… lets see if they have an affiliate program

Ralf,
Yes, you should partner with payoneer and offer their debit cards to tradebit merchants and pay to those debit cards. You can also have the card branded with tradebit’s name and logo.
By providing these debit cards this payout solution would be more complete in all aspects.
It would be really useful to your merchants who do not have debit cards. Even people who have debit cards like me would prefer a service like payoneer or anything similar for a variety of other reasons especially your power merchants.
I will write a detailed email to you on this regard. Ralf, Thanks for listening to your merchants and that is why tradebit is way ahead of its competitors!
