We thought, we would be quicker and you would not even notice... but some did... for a few seconds, all files were gone from tradebit and came back within seconds. That was, because we added another storage unit to our "cloud", now serving a few more Terabytes for the products to come. Sorry if you bumped into a missing file for the few minutes we messed things up. Now we are back in black and have closed the first ticket of the relaunch: More space...
We have now 4 fully equipped Dell MD3k units serving the products, plus additional file servers for static public content - that sums up to a whooping 62 Terabytes of files in storage (not counting externally hosted music or eBooks)! That should give us some room until Christmas
For those of you who wait on answers from me personally: I am in full swing for the relaunch and have started to work with our new colleague Steve to make tradebit easier. This is a busy summer! Bare with us, while we close in to a new era of download sales!
To sum it up: Yesterdays credit card issues have been solved and things are back to normal. More follows on Wednesday!
