Every day we get stupid fake emails from people who want to gain access to our PayPal account. You will get these too, if you ever published your email address together with the word "paypal" somewhere.
The is nothing you can do against it, only "not reacting" to these mails.
It works like this:
The assclown (great word, thanks to Jeremy and Matt) creates a PayPal lookalike page where you drop your login data. Once you have done that, the gangster logs into your account and transfer some of your money away to his account.
From that account the pays out to a bank account. Now comes the trick. The bank account is not his, but from some poor "work at home get rich quick" soul, who takes the money and transfers it via Western Union abroad. The guy picks up the money and disappears.
The only who get caught is the "financial service" guy, who thought he/she works for a money service!
So: DO NOT LOGIN TO PAYPAL OUT OF YOUR EMAIL CLICKS!
and do not work for "finacial services", who ask you to transfer money abroad in strange ways.
