CES and MacWorld kick off the year
The Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas and the coming MacWorld are good places to look for the hot and cooking topics this year.
As networked geeks we are especially interested in the new web services and as file fanatics we hooked on all kind of new storage. Well, CES got plenty to show:
A good overview give the PCworld CES news items here and to follow the Mac developments, you can see it at apple.com first.
My favourite reports are:
- Remote controlled helicopter: The bladerunner II looks like a fun toy to have!
- 50 greatest gadgets: The last 50 years as a cool review
- Slideshow of the digital ghetto: Outside the main convention hall - check out the Skype Mouse!
- Poor rich man: how stupid bloopers follow Bill Gates… (remark: Microsoft seemed to rule the CES, don’t get the wrong impression)
Next year I am there!
