Kung-Fu blogging, or why do you write and read?
Viral marketing master Steve Rubel posted yesterday: “Everything is a press release” in his very influencial blog. Baseline is, that nobody blogs for fun anymore, but for public relation reasons. Partly true, for me here, too - BUT there are many advertising free blogs out there, maintained by people who just have to report some interesting things from their lives and if the software would be finally supporting it, I am sure, more artists, who just have the non-monetary desire to publish something would join the blogosphere. Some just are very very funny (for germans, at least :-), others are plain bored.
Anyhow, I disagree: not everything is a press release, even if it is formatted that way. I do not want to read this posting in a daily newspaper, please!
Leave us a comment, if you have URLs of advertising free blogs of funny people or remarkable blogs of artists and other folks.

I am blogging out of fun, but I guess I can only keep that up, while workload is low. If my boss bombs me with work, I sometimes miss 4 or 5 days in my blog…
