Weekends spawn different user behaviour
Over weekends and sometimes the holidays I love to take a closer look into our logs and statistics, to stay on top of everything that is going on with tradebit.
Here are some observations, which might be of interest for the marketing heads out there:
1.) there seems to be a big crowd, changing the AdWords pricing for the weekends. The income from ads is significantly lower on the weekend!
2.) traffic for MP3 and pictures doubles on weekends! MySpace maniacs?
3.) more sales of “fun and hobby” elements: while during the week, a lot of sales are for sound effects or ebooks, the weekends really spin off some higher numbers for music and manuals. People need some fun at the weekends, I suppose
