When selling digital goods the most important event held "online" are called giveaway events. For those Internet Marketers who have been marketing online for a while you may have come across several of these events. Usually they are held by the more well known marketers who run these type of things. Giveaway events are usually held throughout the year and are a great opportunity to grow your optin list as they allow you to upload a product that you don't mind giving away for free. You do this in exchange for receiving the email address of each person that downloads your free giveaway product. This allows you to then follow up and possibly make some sales. Google "Online Giveaway Events" and you will be sure to come across some. (Christmas time was a busy time with many of these events being active). Off line there are also Events being held, again usually by bigger names in the internet marketing world, who hold seminars on internet marketing and topics that of course include selling digital goods. There is probably at least one big event being held somewhere in the world every month. Google "Internet Marketing Seminars" and you will find some. Serious marketers from all over the world attend these things, so if there's one being held in your area, you should attend. You will learn valuable stuff and meet a possible JV partner for the future. I did not mention any specific names for events or marketers, as I don't necessarily endorse one over the other.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Thanks Ralf for running the best service online!
