It is no secret, that most of the buyers (around 50%) reach the different products via search engines. So, enhancing your description with text is vital for your download sales. A lot of merchants link to tradebit and so they produce a lot of Google love and traffic by doing so. Nonetheless are many of the great files we have on stock not tagged and described as they should be. I know, that many of you just go bulk and upload all their photos or sound files. It will help you to sell more, if you put some brain into the tagging and titles of your files!

Take “Britney Spears” as an example. It is a high profile keyword, bringing a lot of traffic to pages, covering that topic. Now we have some new Karaoke songs from that artist here: “Britney Spears Karaoke“.

The merchant “hotmama” is selling a great selection of these karaoke songs and I am sure, there are many people out there, who will need that for youtube fun videos:

Now still, the file is missing the tags “karaoke” and “britney spears” to connect the files to the rest of britney spears files, we really DO have on file, e.g. the Wallpaper!

These “clusters” of topic related files are easily built by tagging the files right!
