The miracle of named links and keywords
Most people who want to rank high in search engines for certain terms I talk to forget that the term they pick is crucial for a successful ranking. Just ranking high for “my favourite term” does not mean that people actually look for that term on Google or Yahoo.
If you put products on tradebit and give them strange names like “da rockin fella” - which might look cool, but is not - our search engine friendly setup will probably rank very good for that term. But not one single person (besides you) on this planet will search on Google for that term and therefor produce any traffic nor sales for the file.
Think about what people really search for and name your products “MP3 rock with guitars” to have at least some chance to be found by relevant traffic. We daily see soooo many good files uploaded here and then named to confuse people and search engines alike!
