Once in a while, I open my blog for a guest posting of one of our merchants. This friday Tamara Riddle is writing about her experience with us – which we proudly publish here:

I was an Ebay PowerSeller for 7 years! It was great while it lasted. I was able to leave my day job and make a good income from the comfort of home. However, like many thousands of other Ebay sellers, the constant fee increases and arbitrary rules imposed by Ebay forced me out of business last year.

Since that time, I’ve been searching for a way to replace the income I used to make from my Ebay business. I’ve done things like build websites to promote affiliate products, build websites for other people and I’ve even developed and sold my own products. While I’ve managed to make money from all these ventures, none of them really took hold and generated the kind of income I used to make from Ebay.

One day while researching keywords, pages from TradeBit kept coming up in the top 10 Google results for nearly all my searches. I’d never heard of TradeBit before so naturally I was curious and wanted to find out more about it!

What I found was a digital products marketplace. It looked very interesting, kind of a combination of ClickBank and Amazon, and there was no doubt in my mind that the site was very well optimized and search engine friendly because it was getting a lot of love from Google.

The Alexa rankings were pretty spectacular, too! As I’m writing this, the TradeBit site is ranked 3,998 out of all the billions of sites on the Internet. And, according Alexa’s Clickstream data, 4.5% of the site’s visitors go to PayPal when they leave, which tells me that at least 4 visitors out of every 100 end up as buyers! And, that figure doesn’t include the people who use Google Checkout, PayDotCom or ClickBank to pay for their purchases.

I don’t care who you are, that is an impressive conversion rate!

Anxious to give it a try, I quickly registered for an account on TradeBit. What the heck, it was free to set up an account! Oh, and it doesn’t cost anything to list your products for sale here either. What a nice change of pace, no listing fees!

I was thrilled when I discovered one of my TradeBit listing pages for an audio book was on the first page of Google for it’s primary keyword within a couple of days…out of over 50 million results! And, I made my first sale within a few days of joining TradeBit! Looks like I’ve found a new home for my online business.

In an effort to find out everything I could about TradeBit as quickly as possible, I searched around on the Internet to see if anyone in the Internet Marketing community had put together a comprehensive tutorial about getting the most out of TradeBit. To my surprise, I didn’t find a single ebook, not a single video series that gave me the “insider information” or “tips and techniques” for using TradeBit I was looking for.

So, I set out to investigate for myself the true power of TradeBit!
