A featured thread on WebmasterWorld last week was named "Writing Titles That Get Clicked and Help the Site Rank" - that is a core topic on tradebit, too! Your product names are automatically taken to create the title of the page. We just add a "Download <CATEGORYNAME>" at the end of it to indicate the nature of the page in the title.
So, if you write up your product names, keep 2 things in mind:
- Keyword is a must: A keyword is something people are looking for, e.g. "Abba Karaoke"
- The title should explain shortly what the customer will get. It is displayed in Google as the link, so "Abba MP3: Waterloo - Karaoke Download" is a very good result. Keep in mind, that the category is added at the end.
Also: in the light of the latest updates on Google and Bing it is a good idea to make your description unique. Copying the sales pages of MRR products is just not helping your sales. It kills them. Merchants keep asking, how to make more sales on tradebit: Believe me, there are merchants who do that exactly right and they prosper - so can you!
