Dear Merchants,
The Holidays are a very important 'sales' season for merchants around the world, including those at tradebit. To show our continued support for our dedicated, long-standing merchants, we are currently clearing our catalogue of poor or incorrectly cataloged listings. This will enable our search to function more efficiently, increase the accuracy of our catalogue and will prevent customer dissatisfaction from buying products that were wrongly or poorly described. In sum, this process will create a better tradebit experience.
Many of you may have already received personally addressed warning emails in this respect. I would like to ask all merchants to please check over their listings to make sure their listings are accurate to prevent listing deletion, their listings from being hiding and in extreme cases, account deletion. In particular, please be aware of the following:
1. Listing manuals with the cover of manuals in listings. Merchants will be deleted automatically for violating this rule.
2. Listing products with no or very poor descriptions. Merchants will be warned and given a few days to rectify the listings. Depending on the product and the ability to preview what the buyer is purchasing, listings will be hidden from our search.
3. Listing products with inaccurate or insufficient titles. Merchants will be warned and given a few days to rectify the listings. Depending on the product and the ability to preview what the buyer is purchasing, listings will be hidden from our search.
4. Listing products in the wrong categories in the tradebit catalogue. Merchants will be warned and given a few days to rectify the listings. Depending on the product and the ability to preview what the buyer is purchasing, listings will be hidden from our search.
5. Listing the same product multiple times. Multiple listings will be removed.
