Software Channels

As soon as you exceed the amount of 10-15 domains under your control and you want some special features with the names (like DNS round robin to loadbalance or different mail services for subdomains, etc.) and you do not want to run your own name servers, there are 2 solid service providers I want to mention here:

• The Widge a provider of plain vanilla name services. You can run a dynamic domain on your cable dial-up with them,
• GoDaddy - large and old domain registration service. If you register with them, you get a nameserver configuration tool that can cope with most of the tasks

There are many others like that (namecheap, enom, etc.), who provide additional nameserver features with your domain, but I have worked with these two for quite some time and I am very happy with the service!
