Weekends on Times Square
While cruising thru NYC this weekend, I passed Times Square and saw some billboards displaying advertising for Internet companies. Especially Mapquest sprung to my eyes.
It has been my favourite service for maps for ages if searching for locations and ways around in the states. Google maps might gives them a hard time right now, but I am still using them.
Another was the Yahoo sign, which is installed as a permanent sign as it seems. It is pretty cool to have an ad on Times Square and it shows, how big the “search business” is - and it just has started!
