Google checks out webmasters manually
While having nice chats on PubCon the last 3 days, we met Matt Cutts from Google, who (among other things) is responsible for fighting spam in the Google search index. We asked him to show us, how he checks out webmasters and he showed us a new way of manual checks:
Here Nilhan from the UK gets a karma test.
Bill also was checked out. Then we decided, that we are pretty handsome Internet cowboys and Matt and I were posing for Brokeback Mountain 2.0:
But seriously: It was my first pubcon and I do hope not my last. Right now we are preparing to head back to NYC by train to catch our flight tonight. More pictures will be posted in my gallery and for those of you, who want to see the pics, just drop me an email and I will give you an access password.
I got a great motivation push from the conference and look forward to be back at my home desk to check out some new ideas.
