The peak of heat!
That was for sure one of the hottest summers in Germany so far. July is almost over and I have been creating a lot of PHP code and learned a few new tricks from friends and other bloggers. The highlight of the last weeks (speaking workwise, not lifewise 
was for sure the new cluster on CentOS, that we have setup with brand new storage systems. I really love that stuff! If I wouldn’t live in an appartment complex, but a house with a basement, I would put the whole basement full of storage systems 
However, the heat was hard to stand and only german beer helped sometimes. The AC in the office is just loud, but not coping with the temperature and we were happy to see less sunshine the last few days.
In California the mercury was rising so high, that serveral people died. That is horrible news.
For us here it looks like we have reached the peak of temperatures and the next days should be normal nice and warm, but not hot summer days. Good, I need to finish some work and will prepare the announced new features for roll out.
