Sometimes it seems that the overall throughput of traffic gets a hit and goes down to a percentage of what is possible.

We have seen a big dip this morning, but it recovered within 30 minutes. Our hoster (theplanet) reported no issues and I guess it must have been a backbone issue, because the servers are not over any normal limits at the moment.

To verify that problem I have transferred some Megabytes from other hosted machines in the states and Germany … most of them had the same low speed.

I do hope, the Internet is not failing us

The network weather report looks good again now.
