Software Channels

This is a notification for all our customers, partners and users. We will upgrade the Tradebit system on Thursday, the 30th of August. This upgrade includes major programming changes in the back to ensure highest performance on the system for the upcoming layout and language enhancements.

We will also implement some database changes. All in all we do believe that the system will be unreachable or produce errors for less than 1 hour. In that 1 hour we will put several patches in place and before we do so, we backup everything. If one of the steps fail, we will roll back to the previous state. Due to the nature of our current application setup, this is not avoidable - we are sorry for that. We hope that you will enjoy the additional functionality afterwards.

The file hosting will NOT be affected - so your files will be delivered if you host pictures or music for your own website with us.

Sales will be recorded, but might produce strange download notifications with missing titles.

The member area will be closed for 1 hour.

We will implement the changes at 2 am, local Houston time. That is in the middle of the night for the whole US and should lower any risks for your sales. Mail to “tickets(at)tradebit(dot)com” if you have any questions.
