Hacking the iPhone or: just go Nokia
A young guy did it: he hacked the iPhone to use it in other networks and he shares it with the world on his blog.

The question is: Does the strategy of Apple not speak loud and clear against this product? It has some great features and it looks good. Other phones do have more features, are useable anywhere on the planet with a quad band and are not bound to one single provider. I love my Nokia E61i, which lets me do my mail with serveral providers. My friends have cool looking LG phones, which are just as black and nice.
My vote is: I keep my iPod and my phone seperated and I have warranty on both, if one of the pieces fail. So no need to get an iPhone just yet. Wait for the next generation, which surely will be more open.

I just got the iPhone and am very displeased. I should have gone with something cheaper because the cost is just not justfied in my eyes.
