Scheduled maintenance time
After the servers went down again today around 7am Houston time (CDT) for 20 minutes we have scheduled a replacement of one of our main cluster nodes. This will effect the platform again, but the replacement of faulty hardware has to happen soon!
We have agreed with ThePlanet to replace the server tomorrow night (1st of September) at 2am (CDT, local Houston time) and expect a downtime of less than 15 minutes. In that time no sales will happen. This is during the night so the impact on the traffic will be as low as possible.
We apologize of the inconvenience this might cause. Failing hardware is a pain and we invest quite a bunch of dollars to avoid any further distrubance for you!

We have started to swap out one of the storage systems and you might notice some missing images on the CDbaby albums. We estimate a window of 2 hours while the new server is installed.

So…. we have finished the replacement process and are back up on track!
