Snow Leopard against Windows 7?
Has Microsoft finished the release of W7 earlier to make a stand against the Snow Leopard OS release from Apple? I just started to think about a “technical environment update” of my workplace and noticed that both releases are very close together… anyhow:
We already have a Mac Book Pro here with the new Snow Leopard OS, but I honestly do not see a major difference to the previous release - yet the pure 64bit set of the coding gives a good and speedier impression. It also caused some compiling errors with some Open Source products but that was forseeable and easy to solve.
Yet I am waiting for the Windows 7 release to update my desktop computer. I was really disappointed with the slow impression Vista made and want to have a speedier environment on my desktop now!
I have now ordered it and will update my box here soon. Lets bookmark this nice little how-to to speed the thing up once it is installed!
