Software Channels

A lot of merchants tried to reach me directly since last Friday - well, I have been down with the flu and needed some days to recover - Actual status: not fully back on deck, but still in command
I was able to answer some emails and look for one of the servers when it failed last Monday. I also talked to a potential new content partner and I think we have great news for mid-October when we will publish the new files in the pipe. It will be a lot of new content and a lot of work to implement and present the new files like it should be. That will be basically Martins job and I will need some time to catch up, once back in the office!
ThePlanet is currently preparing new machines for the tradebit cluster, which we will switch on for maximum speed during next week (ETA is the 7th of October). Enhancing the cluster will not interrupt normal operation (if we do it right) and you should see a doubling in speed soon!
While I was “out of order” my colleagues also implemented some new security measures and answered a lot of support requests - good to see, that I can be away for a few days without everything collapsing ;-). If you mailed me directly or you currently wait for an answer to an urgent question: Please mail again, it could be that I missed your mail in the last days…
