Listing Procedure Follow-up and New Affiliate Twitter Account

As previously announced in Steve’s blog post on August 29th, 2011, tradebit has adopted a new minimum value policy for products listed in the catalogue.  This policy is now currently in effect and has been done to relieve catalogue congestion caused by products valued at extremely low prices, preventing competitively priced products from being easily located.

Items under $1.49 will not be searchable or discoverable within product categories with exception to sound and mp3 downloads, which will remain searchable.

Sound and mp3 files will have a minimum list price of 0.79 cents and movies will have a minimum listing value of 0.98 cents. While items below these prices will be removed from the catalogue, sellers are still able to list items below the threshold on their own pages.

Our ultimate goal is to enhance the buyer’s experience, which in turn, creates more revenue for affiliates and increases the usability and success of tradebit as a whole. If you have any questions or concerns, please email (ashley(at)tradebit(dot)com).

I am also pleased to announce the creation of a unique tradebit Twitter page (@tradeaffilia) for affiliates. @tradebitaffilia will be used to tweet important updates with an emphasis on affiliate information. Additionally, affiliates and other tradebit users are welcome to use this account to tweet general affiliate and non-affiliate related questions.

Best,

Ashley
