Does the world need another browser?
I admit, the browser looks nice and the features are fine for the professional webmaster or the real information geeks. But I honestly doubt, that we need another browser on the market. Maxthon is the name of an Internet Explorer based browser with a lot of nice features. TechCrunch writes about it today in their blog.
For me, that piece of software is an IE replacement, but for sure not for FireFox. Maybe Microsoft would be interested to just buy them to make their browser better :-).
Anyhow, some of the toolbars for IE are not working with Maxthon and there is a marketing driven company behind the development, which you FEEL by using it. You may check out the software, because there is a growing buzz around it, but I have not seen anything that drives me away from FireFox.

come on, ralf!
that browser beats firefox by all the extensions, coz they are already built in! Take the RSS reader or the password management. you might wanna install that for FF, too, but that thing is really helpful!

That browser is just an IE clone with add-on toolbars, no way to replace nor to introduce that as as standard… anyhow: my dad will not be able to USE all the stuff anyhow!
