Converting AVI to flash (FLV) movies
Today is a holiday in Germany, a bit before the States got their memorial day, we have the christian celebration of “Ascensio domini”. So, the day in the office was pretty slow and I had the whole day to play around with new software for you:
I found RIVA, a program to convert movie files into flash movies to play with any flash player directly from your pages. In the times of fast growing bandwidth, you might want to consider to enrich your pages with some multimedia? Well, here you go! There is a free version of the converter available. The standard format for FLASH movies is .flv
Further a friend of mine pointed me to a nice FireFox extension, which I have installed now to validate my coding: FireBug… the new version 0.4 just came out.

Video To Flash Converter by GeoVid software is the one which I use. I`m not even talking about PRO version which has effects managing options and its just wonderful.
I avoid of using free tools for that because now I know that you got what you paid. that is the rule. and of course you dont have to get very expensive tools, highly advertised and so on. its overpriced
so IT is 59.95 USD, has a trial version, which is fully functional and no time limited.
for me its better that you will try it by your own, I will not make a review here how good is this tool or something like that. as long as this tool has a full featured trial - there is no choice just to try it and make a decision of your own. i made it. that is the best application for me which is fully fitting my needs. Its highly qualited. thats all I can say!
