I have windows 7 32 bit and have 2 users created, for skype i am using 4.2. In Windows 7 the command runas.exe does not support the /savecred option anymore, so i removed it.
The "sign in automatically when skype is started" is unchecked.

To try to start 2 skypes I used the task manager to stop skype first, after that I restarted by using:

C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /profile /user:usr1 "C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe"

and

C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /profile /user:usr2 "C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe"

Both startups ask for the password of the windows user.
The first one starts..
The second one starts, but does not ask for new skype credentials and in fact still just one skype is 'alive'.

Also I tried the launcher mentioned in
http://forum.skype.com/topic/88055-skype-launcher-with-autologin-runs-on-vista-too-update-yes-again/
but that one also does not do it for me.

It is a pity, since it would be really helpful for me to run both accounts.

simply right click on the skype executable (regular one or any shortcut for skype you already have) and click .. run as administrator or runas from there.. that would run another instance of skype on spot.

Hi,

I have found the solution to this question. I have used this software and it really works on windows Xp and Vista.

Please visit the following link

http://www.freewebs.com/davidcartnor/softwares.htm

Its very easy all we have to do is to pay one time $10.00 as donation to this user and have to subscribe to his site in order for him to make sure that he send the software to the right email address.

I did this and many other as well and i am really enjoying skype much better than earlier.

Thanks
Brad
