Play again: Commandos
This weekend I finally had some time to dig through our vast game collection and found some great classics. Because I have to spend some time on the plane next month, I thought I try some of our action games we sell on tradebit. We have some great - like Kane and Lynch, but my tiny notebook is to weak for the 3D fun of that game!
So I found an old classic I played serveral years ago: Commandos!
It comes with a free trial you can play for 1 hour before you decide if you like it or not, but it is hours fun! We also have the sequels which are a bit heavier on the graphics and look nicer - but you need Windows XP for the third part of the series - my notebook is Vista and Linux… So I went for the classic old one! That even works on the new netbooks or on my business notebook with the weak graphics card. If you have been a fan of Commandos, try it out - but beware, it contains pixel violence

Pure nostalgia. I think the c64 version was called “Commando” without the “s” though. Is the music the same too? I love the music of the original.
