We are currently working on a new set of over 100,000 new additional eBooks in ePub format. The deeper I dig into that topic the clearer I see the obstacles for a small eBook distributor like us: Handling, formats and downloading is NOT very user friendly. That accounts for the whole industry. While Amazon, iTunes or Google have the resources to let a dozen or more people work on the process to make it easier, we are currently struggling to create a smooth purchasing and downloading experience for the reader of eBooks.
Right now the "ePub" format with rights management means: these books only work on the Adobe Digital Editions reader and that piece of software is only available on Windows and Mac.
I guess the new catalog will be rolled out right before the new layout and structure in August, too. Until then: it is business as usual with tradebit.
On a side note: we are also talking to the credit card companies to make the payments easier and safer. Not just the merchants are fed up with some of the charge-backs, we are also!
A lot of changes going on in the back and we will make sure the merchants and users are not affected by any bugs...
