Details:
From the lands of Buffalo, NY, The Line Dance Massacre sprung to life in March 2005 after a split up of a previous band with vocalist Aaron and guitarist Dan. Both Dan and Aaron discussed starting a project that expressed its beliefs and views and created a sound that wasn't typical to the scene. Right away the founding two found second guitarist Matt, who was a mutual friend. Not having a permanent drummer at the time, vocalist Aaron was also playing drums; until drummer Jason was added to the line up close to the band's first show. Together, the four have fused together a sound that pulls from various styles of music ranging from hardcore, metal, grindcore, jazz, southern rock, emo, and even latin. TLDM went into the studio in May of 2005 and recorded a six song demo/e.p. and soon after started playing shows in June. The band has quickly gained a reputation for being an entertaining band to watch on stage and leaving the crowd wanting more playing shows with bands like Through The Eyes of The Dead, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Embrace The End, and The Red Death. Driven by a common Christian based faith and a passion for making music, The Line Dance Massacre is here to set the pace and leave a trail in society.
