Lisa Winter is a vocalist who brings to life each and every song she performs with clear, personal passion. Whether it is a selection from her original works, or a song you may have heard before, Lisa brings to each melody a unique style evocative of tuning your own heartstrings. Her delivery of song expresses the depth of insight with a soothing, healing presence.
Lisa grew up in Upstate New York and began performing there in her teens. She lived and sang during her travel around the Midwest for ten years, honing her craft before beginning to write and record in earnest over the past few years.
Lisa recently had the honor of performing for the annual Breast Cancer Coalition memorial and celebration held at the Rochester Science and Museum Center. She was asked to record the songs on the "Come What May" CD to make available to those who attended the event.
Currently residing in Webster, New York with her husband Joe and their children, Lisa plays in the Upstate New York area. Hers is a distinctive blend of several styles, including blues, country, contemporary folk and soft rock, capturing the emotions of the listener.
Look for a new CD to come out later this year with still more original music, along with a few choice cover tunes.
