Living With Amy

Since completing their debut CD in January 2001, Sydney based band Living with Amy has been steadily gaining recognition for their beautifully crafted, melodic and lyrical album and their vibrant live performances.

Two tracks from the CD are currently on ABC Local Radio's national playlist and the album has been featured several times on the "Spotlight on Australian Music" segment for ABC Local Radio in Darwin and Hobart.

In July 2001 the ABC invited Living with Amy into their studios at Ultimo to record a new song (titled "Your Life"), which has also been added to the playlist and is receiving daily airplay around Australia. "Your Life" is also featured on the latest ABC Radio compilation album 'Airplay 4' currently available in ABC shops.

Living with Amy recently made their television debut, performing a song from their album live on the Denise Drysdale show, aired 2 August 2001.

Rebecca Hewitt (vocals/acoustic guitar), Emile Nelson (vocals/bass guitar) and Tom Rice (electric and acoustic guitar) form the core of Living with Amy. The other musicians featured on the album are Glenn Wilson (drums), John Rutledge (keyboards) and Jess Ciampa (percussion)

Individually they have performed with renowned artists such as Julian Lennon, Mark Williams, Wendy Matthews, Marcia Hines and Doug Parkinson as well as writing and performing music for radio, film and television.
