Details:
Great Lakes Chronicle ... Lee Murdock in concert, solo and with the Blue Water Band

A one-of-a-kind collection, this two-CD set contains 20 songs, 1 hour and 59 minutes of music. This collection was edited from five performances by Lee Murdock, sometimes solo, sometimes with the Blue Water Band, comprised of the same musicians who appear on Lee's recordings:

Drew Carson, mandolin and other instruments; Don Stiernberg, mandolin; Jim Cox, bass; Peter Seman, violin and harmonica; Dave Humphreys, bass.

Five of these songs were featured on a popular sampler distributed in 1998 -- this CD contains those five songs and the other fifteen songs in this live collection.

Special features available only on this CD include Lee's live re-telling of the story of The Christmas Ship, the Rouse Simmons, which was lost on its way to Chicago in 1912 with a load of Christmas trees and garlands. This popular story has been made famous in recent years by several new books, and a special one-hour "Storm Stories" episode which aired in November and December on the Weather Channel.
