The Great Lakes have inspired awe and beauty, tragedy and humor, sailors and artists, for many generations. For Lee Murdock, exploring the musical and maritime heritage of his home region has become a passion and a labor of love, one that is shared by an avid following of boaters and preservationists around the Great Lakes and around the world!

The music is grounded in the work song traditiona, from the rugged days of lumberjacks and wooden sailing schooners.
