Details:
Cellist Lee Richey grew up in Davidson, N.C. He began his musical studies on the violin at age eight with his mother, Elaine Lee Richey. At the age of fourteen he switched to the cello and subsequently entered the high school division of the N.C. School of the Arts for his senior year where he went on to complete his Bachelor of Music. He attended the graduate schools of S.U.N.Y at Stony Brook, Southern Methodist University (MM), the University of Southern California, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (DMA). He has been the principal cellist of the Knoxville Symphony, Winnipeg Symphony, Spoleto Festival, Colorado Music Festival, and the Green Bay Symphony. He has been on the faculty of the Eastern Music Festival, the Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck, the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, Washington and Lee University, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Pianist Craig Richey began his studies at the age of eight with his father, David Frank Richey. He received his diploma from the N.C. School of the Arts, his Bachelor of Music from the Juilliard School, and his Master of Music from the St. Louis Conservatory. He has served as staff accompanist for the Juilliard School as well as accompanist fro soprano, Clamma Dale and cellist, Lynn Harrell. He is a member of the faculty of the Third Street Settlement School in New York City where he continues to coach summer workshops. He is also a composer of music for film and was the composer for the summer hit movie from Lion's Gate Films, Lovely and Amazing. He is currently on the faculty of Cal-State University at Long Beach.
