Details:
My parents raised me along with four sisters listening to country and bluegrass music. I got my first guitar when I was twelve. My Dad was a truck driver and my Mom stayed at home and raise five children. They could not afford a guitar for me; so one day walking home from school I found my first guitar. I found a Gibson, it in the garbage that was set out to the road for pickup. It had no strings and the neck was broken. I keep that guitar till a friend of my father's was cleaning out an old storage building. In there he had another old guitar, it was close to the same year and model as mine. While he was playing a bar, he broke it over someones back; but the neck remained unharmed.

I barganed for the part I needed. To earn it, I cut his grass three times. After a good sanding, staining, a light coat of varnish, new string and keys the guitar looked good as new. Thank goodness, all the electrical pickups still worked. I played that guitar for many years and it still sounded great. Four decades later that same guitar is displayed at The HG Records Recording Studio in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
