Like the epic story surrounding many original bands, 14 Feet Wide developed their unequalled amalgam of rock roar ball and melodious maelstrom playing dives and trip the light fantastic halls in local climes, theirs being the fragrant southeasterly home of many a legend and many a loser. Comprised of vocalist Jamie Peavey, guitarist Jon Rozzelle, bassist Hayden Mauney, and drummer Matt Doughten, 14 Feet Wide adopt road haggard rock and roll tradition, with a nod to modernistic technology and computer commerce. Rather than simply copy any one exceptional artist (which would stigmatise them as yet more wannabe poseurs slurping limp toilet water), 14 Feet Wide integrated a dizzying, various stew of improbable influences including Clutch Orangish 9MM, Rage Against the Machine, Joyride and Downset.

It's like golfing with bowling balls and sledgehammers: P.O.R.N.(like golf, students) is elegant rhythmical and remindful of old school forms, but (watch those sledgehammers, Eugene) it kicks mighty ass and grinds your skull, the deft pairing resultant in grievous sounds for grievous listeners.
