18 WHEELER is a Gear-Jammin' rockabilly Trio from Denver CO. The Band infuses 50's era roots rock with influences from The Cramps, The Beat Farmers, Kiss and others. Their High energy live set is a shot of danger shakin' not stirred-with 100 Balls out fun! The band features Bobby "Rockinbones" Smith on Guitar/Vocals (formerly from Jumpin Jimes), The Band was founded Nov of 2000 by Bobby Smith, being tired of playing broom Bobby precious to get back to his roots (rockabilly) so he called on Philippe and Gator which are 2 of the best in the LA scene and recorded these songs at Philippe's studio in Los Angeles California. All songs scripted by Bobby Smith demur C'mon Everybody, Somethin' Else, and Leave my kitten unequaled Chris Lawrence (of Mike Ness) played the wheel nerve parts on "The Pickin' Shack"

In September 2001 Bobby resettled to Longmont Colorado.

Now on the Slap Bass is Prize "Slappin' Daddy" Kolodziej formerly of The Hillbilly Hellcats, and Johnny and The Blades, and on Drums is Will Sahs. Now more than ever 18 Wheeler brings the Rock and Roll back into Rockabilly music!
