At the age of 7, Frank L. Calvin began his devotion to music at Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church, where his father Emric A. Calvin was Pastor. His talents were playing the piano, drums, bass guitar and singing. In 1984, Frank surrendered his life over to the Lord, under the leadership of Elder Ricky L Nutt of the Vallejo Revival Center Ministry. Bro. Frank grew in knowledge and shared his personal testimony to many through music.

He has performed with some of gospel's greatest, including Edwin Hawkins music and arts Seminary Choir, Norman Hutchins, John P. Kee, Shirley Caesar, Sylvester Burks with ministry, James Bignon, James Moore, Tramaine Hawkins, the Bobby Jones Show, Keith Pringle, Linda Pringle, Two for One Production and so many more.

His musical ministry is a rich, unique, contemporary, urban gospel sound. Presently, Bro. Calvin is a member of The New Direction Community Church C.O.G.I.C under the leadership of Bishop Raymond E Watts and First Lady Anita Watts. He resides in Southern California With his wife Denise and sons Adam, Lathan and Isaac. Frank is an experienced song writer, arranger, conductor, instrumentalist and producer for choirs and individuals.
